Operation Trojan

Operation Trojan which has been made in association with The Safer Travel Unit and Lancashire Police Constabulary. It was used to document the kind of incident that is dealt with regularly, using covert vehicles which appear to be normal buses and taxi’s.

I had to be entirely hand-held as obviously I had to be mobile even for the police briefing. I couldn’t have someone on sound, as there wasn’t enough room in the back of the vehicle. For the first part we were shooting in available light as we didn’t want to distract the operation. But then I was asked to bring along a little pag light. I must note that although sometimes it doesn’t look like it on-screen, some of what I caught was under difficult conditions.
